Delhi Public School (DPS) Baramulla Tuesday organized a daylong Seerat conference at the school campus here. The conference was attended by Islamic scholars, parents and their wards. The speakers shed light on the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and reiterated that his teachings “are a guide for the whole humanity to achieve universal brotherhood.”
The speakers on the occasion said the parents should guide their kids towards religion. “These days our mosques are empty but courts and hospitals witness huge rush of people which depicts that our society is in crisis,” said one of the speakers at the occasion.
Chairman DPS Baramulla, Sheikh Mohsin Iqbal said it was for the first time that a Seerat conference was organized at the school. He said such auspicious events will be organized in future as well. The students of the school also delivered speeches highlighting the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
